Neetah Cheetah

It all started when…

Neetah Cheetah formed in 1989 when Neil Russell, ex-Glasgow bass player, got together with guitarist, Paul Murdoch, ex-Apres Ski, Avalon and Prowler. Paul brought drummer, Craig Leslie, on board and the band started rehearsing with singer Ali McInnes. Lorraine Murray soon joined to give extra vocal power. Influenced by American rock, they performed mainly in the Clydebank area and recorded two albums. Neetah Cheetah and Pause for Claws. (Albums on all major platforms) They also won Mick’s Music Awards and featured in the Glasgow Evening Times.
